This state of the art science building opened in May 2007.
The facilities are amongst the best of any school in the country for the teaching of science.
A £6m investment was made to deliver exceptional facilities to accommodate the teaching of science into the 21st century.
The building has a floor dedicated to each of the Biology, Chemistry and Physics departments and fourteen new laboratories which are amongst the biggest of any school in Britain, and also include a unique science research laboratory.
As well as providing advanced equipment and fully integrated ICT support in spacious classrooms, the new building includes a 120 seat lecture theatre.
