Independent State School Partnerships

Independent State School partnerships were a government initiative set up in 1997 to encourage collaborative working between independent and maintained schools. Since this time more partnerships have been set up across many regions.

Twelve secondary and junior schools in Warwick have signed up as partner schools in the Warwick Independent State Schools Partnership. This aims to maximise the strengths of the schools in relation to specialist status, specialised facilities, cross-sector professional development and curriculum enrichment.

Warwick School has been assigned the role of facilitator for providing enrichment opportunities for all school children in Warwick. To this end we have formulated an exciting programme of activities and experiences for the two-year period of the programme.
