Homeward Bound
We had an emotional send-off from Nanshan school when we presented a painting of Warwick School to the Deputy Headmaster Mr Yu at the weekly flag-raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem. We then said goodbaye to the host partners and boarded a coach for Hong Kong where we toured the city, including a night-time cruise to see the city lights - a most impressive sight!
We are now at Hong Kong International airport waiting to board our flight to Dubai, which at the moment is on time. Travel details are in the attachment below and we expect to land at Gatwick at 12.30 pm UK time. We should therefore arrive back at the school at around 4.00 pm. We'll keep everyone informed by mobile if this changes.
It has been a memorable trip and the boys have many tales to tell. They will no doubt keep you entertained for hours. Though they have enjoyed the food here, please don't offer them noodles as their first meal back at home! Most are looking forward to a fry-up, the little gourmets.
See you all outside the GNH.
