Big Band
The Big Band is a 30 strong Jazz Band playing swing to funk music. The band plays regularly at the National Concert Band Festival and numerous concerts within school. The band has received two Bronze and two Silver awards at regional level.
Brass Attack
Why not start the day with a blast of brass? Brass Attack is a fun group of intermediate standard players.
Chamber Brass
Chamber Brass is an elite brass ensemble focusing mainly on renaissance music.
Chapel Choir
The Chapel Choir meet to rehearse for Sunday Services in the School Chapel.
Chapel Strings
A small chamber group of our finest and most senior string players.
Choir
This group is often in the limelight especially at Christmas when they lead the singing at Carols and Readings and at the Carol Services.
Concert Band
Our intermediate Concert Band, which many boys perform in before progressing to the Foundation Band.
Guitar Ensemble
This is a large group that gives ensemble opportunities to our many guitarists. They play a wide range of styles from classical to pop.
Jazz Combo
The Jazz combo is a small group of players that play jazz and like to improvise. The group
consists of older more experienced players. The group performs regularly out of school.
Jazz Combo Too!
This club is an opportunity for boys who would like to learn how to improvise in a low pressure, fun environment.
Jazz Lab
Jazz Lab is the senior jazz band, offering a select number of boys the opportunity to perform traditional and modern big band repertoire to a high level.
Little Big Band
The Little Big Band is a 30 strong Jazz Band playing swing to funk music! The band performs regularly out of school and plays at the Music For Youth Festival and the National Concert Band Festival.
Orchestra
The Orchestra plays at all the major concerts and accompanies concertos often performed by senior boys.
Senior Brass Ensemble
Music from Bach to Blues, participation in music festivals and concerts in local churches are features of the Senior Brass Ensemble.
String Orchestra
We rehearse a wide variety of music from Vivaldi Concerti to film themes and give regular Concert performances.
String Training Orchestra
We rehearse a variety of music and give regular Concert performances.
Symphonic Wind Ensemble
This is our intermediate Concert Band and many boys play in this band after serving a period in the Wind Band and before progressing to the Foundation Band.
Warwick Schools Foundation Wind Orchestra
'An exciting and dynamic ensemble', the prize winning Foundation Wind Orchestra regularly commission new works from leading composers and participate in National Festivals.
Wind Band
Wind Band is for all Lower and Upper 4ths. The band plays regularly at the National Concert Band Festival and performs numerous concerts within school.
