a start to a Thunderbird story

The sun shone as the mechanical ship glided through the clear sky.

Ready, Alex Tracy patrolled the deserted area. Diamonds of light shot through Thunderbird X. Towering over the enormous ship, the tweeting birds flew quickly.

Happily, the hikers clambered up the steep mountain. Suddenly, one of the hikers lost his footing, even though the petrified hiker was wearing proper shoes with metal grips. Unexpectedly, the grey rubble fell beneath him. His heart was pounding and he tried to scramble to the left of him. Before he knew it, he was falling quickly and did not have time to think. His frozen hands were clipping the edge of the icy, massive mountain. There was nothing he could do!
