Freddie's desire to help

My name is Freddie, I am in Year 4 and I do Cookery Club every Monday. I have been thinking of how to help the Gateway Café -

Louis is busy decorating his biscuit.

I have been thinking of how to help the Gateway Café on Smith Street in Warwick which is part of the Helping Hands Community Project. The reason I have decided to help this café is because I live nearby and see it on the way to school. I think it is an interesting way to help people in trouble.

Gateway Café is run by volunteers helping local homeless people with their confidence, mental health and provides sleeping bags and warm food. Sometimes we see homeless people in Warwick, Leamington and Birmingham.

Everyone in Cookery Club liked my idea so we decided it would be a kind and thoughtful act to decorate some reindeer cookies and give them as a Christmas charity donation to the Gateway Café. They will be happy to give them to homeless people.
