Warwick School A Level Results 2021

We are immensely proud of our Upper Sixth pupils and all they have achieved, both academically, in line with our usual standard of excellence, and also in their dedication and wider contribution to school life and our community.

Overall, 80% of all grades awarded at Warwick School were A*-A, and 95% A*-B. Results were achieved on assessments under exam conditions, based on past papers. James Barker, Head Master at Warwick School commented, ‘The last 18 months have been a period of unprecedented upheaval, the A Level experience of our departing Upper Sixth bears little comparison to that of any other cohort.  This morning’s results mean that the vast majority of our pupils have been accepted onto university courses of their choice; this is a reason for celebration.

Due to their efforts throughout what has been an unprecedented and remarkable two years, our leavers are once again taking up degree places at range of prestigious universities, including Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science and St. Andrews, to read a diverse range of subjects that encompass both the traditional, medicine, mechanical engineering and law and the modern, Film and Television, Construction Management and Sports Technology.

Their perseverance and courage has been nothing short of remarkable and they should be enormously proud of what they have achieved.  Their efforts have deservedly earned them the opportunity to go forward from Warwick School and pursue their ambitions and we wish them every success for the future.’

Richard Nicholson, Principal of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation added, ‘For our leaving Upper Sixth pupils, this has been a most challenging two years. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, they continued to make the most of all our Foundation schools offered, showing extraordinary resilience in the face of changing circumstances, most especially around the process for the awarding of A Level grades. They are to be commended on their dedication and tenacity in such unique circumstances. We wish all our pupils well for the next stage of their journey, and look forward to staying in touch with them as they forge their path beyond our doors.’
