We finished off our block against KES Stratford with the 13's and 12's all playing competitive games, with lots of fun in their first fixtures by the 12C's and D's. Last Friday, the 12a's enjoyed success against Stratford in the first county cup game with the next against Solihull today. Well done to Dunning and Thomas who both scored fifties against Loughborough.

The 13A remain our top team, steaming through all their opposition. Protherough and McGrory scored half-centuries against KES Stratford, and the bowling attack continues to demolish teams and share the spoils.  Today the team takes on Bromsgrove Prep in the U13 Midlands semi-final, the team is feeling positive and training hard with the aim of reaching the National finals later this term.

The 14's continue to muscle their way through the opposition, with dominant displays against all comers. Sadly the A team were unable to create a clean sweep for the year group against Solihull, with four teams playing in an epic afternoon of cricket. Three of the four games went to the last over, with the D's winning off the last ball!! Special mention to Beard for his 72 and 3-18 over the week, along with Budd scoring another fifty, Jennings taking an excellent 3-24 against a strong Solihull and Hurley amassing 44 to lead the 14B to victory over Loughborough.

Wye and Umashanker continue to lead the way with the bat for the 15A team, both scoring half-centuries and another hundred partnership. Both the A's and B's continue to come close to winning their games but need much more concerted efforts to finish games off with better running between the wickets and pacing their innings. The B's produced a better performance at Solihull on Monday 

Senior cricket continues to struggle to find consistent performances with bat and ball to win more games. Individual performances of note have come from Stanton scoring 55* for the 2^nd XI, Ehsan (Y9) taking his first 3 wickets for the 1stXI, Dunlop scoring his second half century and Catlin smashing 90, falling just short of his first elusive 1^st XI century.

This weekend sees the boys take on Kings Worcester at T20 before the final week of term. The 1stXI game is the next round of the National U18 T20 cup, so all eyes will be on them to turn their season around.
