The past week saw some fantastic tennis across the age groups!

The U13’s began with a win against a strong Princethorpe College side on Thursday afternoon. The scores were tied after the singles, but Aryan and Theo played excellently in the first pair to win 6-1 and Henry and Clark backed this up, also winning 6-1 to secure a win.

On Saturday morning the U12 A’s and B’s and the U13 A’s and B’s travelled to Magdalen College Oxford. For many of the U12’s this was their first experience of a tennis fixture and the stunning backdrop of Oxford added to the experience. The U12 A’s secured a 3 set all draw against more experienced opponents, which was a highlight. The U13’s continued their strong form and won every set in a dominant display. The U14’s and U15’s attended an internal tournament run in the morning and enjoyed the opportunity to play against their peers.

The 1st Team had a National Cup fixture against Rugby School at home on Saturday afternoon. The intensity of the hitting in the warm-up set the tone for an incredible afternoon of Tennis. Will led the way, winning his singles game and this was soon followed by Harrison and Alex. Monty played valiantly against Rugby’s powerful number one seed, but just came up short. After one win and one loss in the doubles, Warwick were victorious and go through to the next round against Bromsgrove.
