F1 in Schools

On April 20 a group of 5 pupils, Xuanlin, Thomas, Seb, James and Isaac, accompanied by Mr Bamford and Mrs Bradshaw, competed in the regional round of the F1 in Schools Competition.

Of the 3 classes, Entry, Development and Professional, their team: Floreat Racing topped the total race time leader board. Having entered into a closely fought Professional class, where only two out of six teams were confirmed to go through to the National Finals, Floreat Racing became West Midlands Champions. For the event, they made a model F1 car and wind tunnel, achieved sponsorship from 3 companies, and created a YouTube and Instagram account. If anyone owns a business and is willing to sponsor us, please get in contact via floreatracing@gmail.com . The five pupils will represent the region and Warwick at Leeds University on June 29 and 30, good luck!
