COVID-19 Information

All COVID-19 restrictions have now ended.

This means that:

  • Face coverings are no longer advised for pupils, staff and visitors in communal areas. However, we would advise that everyone continues to follow wider advice on face coverings outside of school, including on transport to and from the school.
  • Individuals are no longer required to isolate if they have symptoms
  • Any identified close contacts, including those who live in the same household as a positive case, are no longer required to self-isolate or advised to take daily tests
  • Formal contact tracing has ended

The latest Government advice states:

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, and have a high temperature or do not feel well enough to carry out normal activities, try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people, until you no longer have a high temperature (if you had one) or until you no longer feel unwell.'

If you have a positive COVID-19 test result, it is very likely that you have COVID-19 even if you do not have any symptoms.

  • For children and young people aged 18 and under, they should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days after the day they took the test. After 3 days, if they feel well and do not have a high temperature, the risk of passing the infection on to others is much lower.
  • For adults, they are advised to try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days, which is when they are most infectious

For more information, please see the Government's Living with COVID plan.

Thank you for your understanding.

Our COVID protocols

Despite the ending of restrictions, we will continue to encourage positive routines where necessary to keep all children and staff as safe as possible whilst they are with us on site, including:

  • HAND HYGIENE - scheduled hand-washing and use of hand sanitiser
  • CLEANING - scheduled cleaning of resources
  • VENTILATION - where the weather allows, we will continue to ensure that all rooms and spaces used are well ventilated
