How to Apply
The entrance examination for entry at Years 7 - 9 in September 2019 takes place on Wednesday 7 November, 2018.
If you decide you would like your son to apply to Warwick School please take the following steps:
Please complete an application form and send to the Admissions Registrar:
A registration fee of £75 and a copy of your son's birth certificate should also be sent at this time.
Nearer to the day of the entrance examination , detailed advice on the procedure for the day and links to sample papers will be sent to you.
We will write to your son's present school to ask for an up to date report.
About two weeks after the examination all candidates are invited for a short interview. However, where performance in the entrance examination is deemed worthy of consideration for a scholarship, this will take the form of a scholarship interview and a day at school, for which a separate invite will be issued. There is no separate scholarship examination.
Candidates invited in for a scholarship or bursary interview are not required to have an assessment interview.
An offer of a place or a rejection is generally issued three or four weeks after the examination day, along with any offer of a scholarship or bursary.
When the offer is sent out, a deadline is given for acceptance of the place and at this stage a deposit of £500 to secure the place is required.
We strive to ensure a fair and consistent policy to all applicants. Details above may vary for the different age groups that apply.
