During the Year 6 trip to Jaguar Land Rover this week, James and Ben not only successfully programmed their robot, independently debugging the code until it worked – a task which frequently defeats even Year 11 pupils – they did so in just 20 lines of code.

This beat the record of the Education Centre manager and is just behind the record of 18 lines, held by an 18 year old from a specialist technical college. An astonishing achievement for Year 6 pupils. Huge congratulations to them both!
