    Head of Careers and Volunteering

    Term-time only +3 weeks (38.4 weeks) / Permanent /to work 5 days over 7 

    The nature of the role will require the post holder to work out of normal school hours at weekends and during evenings on occasions during the academic year.

    Key elements of the job include:-

    • Establish and implement a clear and coherent Careers Strategy
    •  Advising the senior leadership team on policy, strategy and resources for career guidance.
    • To plan, manage and co-ordinate the School’s Careers programme.
    • To liaise with Heads of Departments to include information, advice and guidance within departmental areas to support options decisions and career/course choices.
    •  To provide independent information, advice and guidance to pupils in all years, ensuring careers
      literature is available and regularly updated and replenished.

  • Science Technician (part time)

    Warwick School is seeking to appoint a part-time Science Technician to commence as soon as possible.

    The successful applicant will work within all three science departments (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Key responsibilities will involve supporting teaching staff in the teaching and learning of pupils by providing all the required technical support to enable the science laboratories to function effectively.

    This part-time role is to job share with an existing member of staff for 20 hours per week for 36 weeks per year. Flexibility for additional work during holidays may be considered.

    The salary range for this post is from Point 12 (£16,863) to Point 15 (£18,316) FTE per annum. The salary is pro-rata according to the number of weeks’ worked.

    • To assist with the preparation of and service of all meals and refreshments as determined by the Head Chef and Catering Manager.
    • To assist with the preparation of the dining rooms and kitchen ready for service.

    • To wash up, dry and store crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner.

    The Estates & Operations department wishes to make an appointment to our team.

    Our Building Compliance & Condition Assistant will proactively support on all areas of compliance / condition for the Department by providing technical operational advice, documentation, record keeping, monitoring and statutory compliance services relating to the management, maintenance and development of the Schools’ estates (including the Foundation’s residential portfolio).  This role requires both office and on-site duties as we look after some 24 large school buildings (of varying size/structure/history) and a national-standard sports ground.

    We are looking for a good communicator with a confident, professional and approachable manner, the ability to be flexible and discreet; someone who is organised, works well under pressure and has excellent key transferable skills including good interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously.

    We are looking to appoint Casual Food and Beverage Assistants to assist with catering functions and events both internal and external at all sites across the campus.

    Salary rate £9.86 per hour

    The successful applicants will provide a quality table and drinks service and customer care during school functions and events and will assist with the preparation of dining and reception areas ready for service and to ensure the safe service of all meals and drinks.

    You will be required to ensure that the dining rooms, reception areas, bars and kitchens are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both before and after service. You may also be responsible for cash handling and staffing the bar areas (age permitting 18+).
