    Exam Invigilator

    £10.76 per hour / Casual, as required

    The role of the Exam Invigilator is to ensure a calm environment which will give the pupils the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams at Warwick School. The successful applicant will also be responsible for organising students at the start and end of each exam, and providing the correct information and material for successful completion of the exam.

    The role requires the successful applicant to assist in the preparation of the exam room and distribution of question papers, admitting candidates to the room in a silent and orderly way, assist with seating according to the seating plan and advising them about possessions permitted in the exam venue. The successful applicant will invigilate the examination, ensuring there is no communication between candidates and dealing with queries raised by candidates.

    Examinations take place during May and June and the length of sessions can vary, although you will always need to be available for the beginning of each session and for its duration.  Morning sessions are from 08.40am and afternoon sessions are from 1.10pm onwards.

    We are seeking to appoint a new Cleaning Operative to support our large, friendly team of Estates & Operations professionals. 

    You will be allocated to your own section of buildings within the Foundation’s schools and will have a clear understanding of the use of cleaning products and their health & safety.

    You will have high standards of cleanliness and take pride in your work. You will also have a willingness to undertake training as necessary.

    You will be used to working within a team and on your own initiative.

    The successful applicant will have previous cleaning experience and will enjoy being part of a busy, hard-working team which makes a significant contribution to the life of the Schools.

  • Cover Supervisor

    We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to supervise  whole classes during the short term absence of teachers under the guidance of teaching/senior staff.  This will include implementing work programmes, managing pupil behaviours and assisting pupils in relevant activities, including the after school homework club, in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

  • Foundation IT Support Apprentice

    Reporting to the Foundation Head of ICT, our IT Apprentice will be required to provide support of the IT systems and services across the Foundation of Schools. This will include handling through to resolution First Line/Level 1 incidents and problems as well as working with other members of the IT team to help resolve 2nd Line/Service issues.

    The successful candidate will have an IT qualification (such as GCSE or A Level) and will have a genuine interest in keeping up to date with ICT development.

    You will have a desire to develop knowledge and skills through attending relevant training as part of your apprenticeship and will actively seek to broaden your knowledge.

    We are looking to appoint Casual Food and Beverage Assistants to assist with catering functions and events both internal and external at all sites across the campus.

    The successful applicants will provide a quality table and drinks service and customer care during school functions and events and will assist with the preparation of dining and reception areas ready for service and to ensure the safe service of all meals and drinks.

    You will be required to ensure that the dining rooms, reception areas, bars and kitchens are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both before and after service. You may also be responsible for cash handling and staffing the bar areas (age permitting 18+).
