Transport & Estates Supervisor
Salary £7,352 (£9.43 per hour – pay increment due September)
15 hours per week; term-time from 15:00pm – 18:00pm Monday to Friday daily
(School holiday hours to be negotiated with line-manager but could be over 2 or 3 days, or daily if it suits)
This is an exciting opportunity to appoint someone who is motivated by supporting their local community, within our large, friendly team of Estates & Operations professionals. During term-time we operate 10 bus routes (including 3 late-buses) and you will help ensure the safe access / egress of our School Bus Service to/from the school site; whilst also making sure the Traffic & Pedestrian Control Assistants are supervised in their roles around the site. There will also be some minimal compliance work involved.
The successful candidate will use their experience to develop and lead their small but key team, ensuring our customers receive first-class service. Using your excellent communication skills you will be approachable, persuasive and able to negotiate with people from a wide range of backgrounds. This would ideally suit someone who is looking for a few hours each day when they can really make a difference in supporting their local community. The Myton Road in Warwick is extremely busy at these times and our schools form 3 of 5 schools on this road alone.
This is a unique role in both the life of our Schools and local community, as we are committed to making a difference to the way in which the traffic flows in/around Warwick in future. For further information please see the Job Details attached. If you would like to discuss this role in more detail, please contact Annie Smith (E&O Resources Manager) on 01926 735455.
Should you wish to apply for this role please complete both parts of the application form on the website shown below and send to email@example.com or contact the HR department on 01926 735413
Closing date for applications: Friday 20th July 2018; 12.00noon
Interviews: w/c 30th July 2018
