We are seeking to appoint a Resources Assistant to support our large, friendly team of Estates & Operations (E&O) Professionals.
If you enjoy thinking on your feet, are not phased easily and relish the opportunity that each day brings with reacting to a variety of needs – then this may well be the job for you. Attention to detail is our byword and we never stand still; our department is seen as ‘leading by example’ and we strive towards best-practice in all we do.
E&O looks after some 24 large school buildings and national-standard sports grounds for our Foundation. We also operate a School Bus Service which sees over 500 pupils brought into school / return home, twice daily. The E&O Resources Team supports a department of just under 100 staff whose line-managers will rely upon you to assist them with their daily processes. Whether it is purchase order processing, helping to arrange remedial works to our buildings, coordinating deliveries, sourcing suppliers, monitoring contracts, small projects on behalf of the senior team/line-managers; your input will always be important and valued.
No two days are the same and although office-based, occasionally you may be asked to seek information by visiting any of our buildings / sister departments, around the large site (all within walking distance) – so a willingness to be mobile in all weathers, is essential.
For further information, please see the Job Details attached. If you would like to discuss this role in more detail, please contact our Resources Manager, Lisa Cook, on 01926 735455.
