A Day in the Life

U13s crowned Midlands Champions

The U13 hockey team was crowned Midlands Champions after a superb tournament.

The team played some inspired hockey amassing a total of 22 goals in their 7 matches whilst only conceding 3.

Aticus Walton-Hayfield was on good form scoring freely whilst Harry Stone and Ben Holding added important finishes in some of the closer matches. Having won the group the team faced Solihull in a rematch of this year's Warwickshire Final and this time Warwick showed great composure and perseverance to win 1-0 and secure a final against Oakham.

The final was less of a test and Warwick were clinical ending up winning 4-1. Matty Walker, Rajan Hayer and Jack Bailey all played superbly in front of Fraser Venn in goal with Ed Pollock and Harry Bailey providing excellent cover in midfield and up front. The team now face the best teams in the country at the National Finals on the 11 May.
