Should we wish to discuss your application with you further you may be invited to attend an interview.

Unsuccessful applications

We aim to contact all candidates if they have been unsuccessful in reaching interview stage. However, due to the number of applications received we are not always able to provide feedback. If you do not hear from us within three weeks of the closing date, then your application has not been successful on this occasion.

Interview process

The interview process is an opportunity for us to get to know the person behind the application form and for you to see the Warwick School community for yourself.

Interviews for teaching positions will normally take place over the course of a day. The format of these will vary depending on the role but will normally include;

  • Interview with the Head Master
  • Interview with the Head of Department
  • Lesson Observation

  • Lunch and an opportunity to meet the rest of the department

If you are applying for a more senior role, then you may be invited to a second interview which could include opportunities to meet further members of the school community and a presentation.

Non-teaching roles will vary in the format of their interviews but will normally include a panel interview and on occasion a test.

At Warwick School we take our commitment to safeguarding seriously. All candidates invited to interview will be asked to demonstrate their understanding of safeguarding to a member of staff who is trained in Safer Recruitment.
