Welcome from the Head Master
Thank you for choosing Warwick School. As an Old Warwickian, I am immensely proud to be Head Master at Warwick School and to welcome you to our community. I loved school and I am devoted to ensuring that every pupil has a similar experience and wakes each morning excited about what the coming day will bring.
Our committed and dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that Warwick School is a place where your child will thrive, seeking to develop the talents of every pupil, always guided by the school motto, Altiora Peto, 'I seek higher things'. Altiora Peto asks each one of us to seek higher things and aspire to be the best version of ourselves.
It is not about being the best, it is about trying your hardest and making the most of every single opportunity. Your children will enjoy a huge range of opportunities, encourage them to make the most of them and have the courage to try new things. If they do the next seven years will be fantastic, they will settle quickly, build friendships, develop passions that last a lifetime, and leave with incredible memories.
There will be a lot of information to absorb over the coming weeks and starting at a new school can feel like a big jump, for both pupils and parents. If I can give any advice at all, it is that there is always support for those who need it. The Heads of Year and their teams are here to help you settle into life at Warwick School and look after you during your time here. You'll also get the opportunity to meet your child's Tutor, who is a fantastic person to reach out to for guidance and reassurance as you embark on their Senior School journey.
You are now members of the Warwick School community. I hope that you and your children are already beginning to feel a sense of pride in your school and that it will stay with you for the rest of your lives.
I look forward to welcoming you all in person later this term and to watching your children grew into well-rounded young people who live happy and fulfilled lives and have a positive impact on the world.
