GCSE results 2026

We are proud to celebrate an exceptional set of GCSE results once again in 2026.

55.3% of examinations were awarded A*/9/8, and 76.4% were graded A/7–9. The average total points score per pupil was 70.5, equivalent to ten A grades across a typical GCSE programme.

The cohort’s success includes many individual stories of achievement, with five boys attaining a ‘perfect’ set of GCSEs and a further two achieving all grade 9s alongside a single grade 8. 21 pupils received no grade below an 8 (or equivalent).

The strength of the results was evident across the curriculum, with 15 departments recording 50% or more of their grades at 9-8, demonstrating the depth and breadth of academic excellence across the school.

Correct at time of publishing - please note that the data provided on this page covers years when the results were the product of public examinations, rather than Center Assessed Grades (2020) or Teacher Assessed Grades (2021).
