Within the Senior School, the vast majority of boys join us in Year 7 or Year 12 (Lower Sixth). Entrance is at the start of the academic year and only by exception, during the school year. We do in addition have an intake for Year 8 and Year 9.
The deadline for applications has now closed for entry at Years 7 - 9, for September 2019. For entry in September 2020 please contact our Admissions Team 01926 776414 email@example.com
A guide to the entry process is given below, but please do contact the Admissions Team if you have any questions.
1: If you decide you would like your son to apply to Warwick School please complete an application form and send to The Admissions Team, Warwick School, Myton Road, Warwick, CV34 6PP. A registration fee of £75 and a copy of your son’s birth certificate should also be sent at this time.
2: We will write to your son’s current school to ask for an up to date report.
3: Nearer to the date details about the Entrance Examination day will be sent to you.
4: After sitting the Entrance Examination all candidates are invited for a short interview. However, where performance in the entrance examination is deemed worthy of consideration for a scholarship, this will take the form of a scholarship interview and a day at school, for which a separate invite will be issued. There is no separate scholarship examination.
Candidates invited in for a scholarship or bursary interview are not required to have an assessment interview.
5: An offer of a place or a rejection is generally issued three or four weeks after the examination day, along with any offer of a scholarship or bursary.
When the offer is sent out, a deadline is given for acceptance of the place and at this stage a deposit of £500 to secure the place is required.
We strive to ensure a fair and consistent policy to all applicants. Details above may vary for the different age groups that apply.
