Train to Teach at Warwick School
Train to Teach at Warwick
If you’re not already qualified then you can be supported to become a teacher at Warwick School. It is an incredibly rewarding profession and we take pride in training the next generation of teachers. We offer a range of routes into teaching.
NMAPS
If you would like to become a Maths or Physics teacher then it is likely that the National Maths & Physics SCITT route is the best route for you. You can find more information on our dedicated NMAPS page.
Qualified Teacher Status
Each year we support graduates who want to train in house to become a teacher. Some people take their first steps into teaching by taking on Sports Graduates or Teaching Assistants. Others apply directly to an advertised post and we offer a reduced timetable while they train.
Placement at Warwick School
Many staff members begin by volunteering with us and decide they want to do a PGCE through the School Direct scheme. We work with the Kenilworth Alliance for trainees who want to do their main placement with us.
To find out more about training to teach at Warwick School, please contact Ms Kim Wyatt, Deputy Head Teaching and Learning, k.wyatt@warwickschool.org.
