Project One Campus
Our vision for 2020 aims to enhance and develop the educational experience for every pupil in the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation. Our pupils have long benefited from a close collaborative relationship between our schools and Project Once Campus brings them all together on one interlinking and green campus. King’s High School will move from its Smith Street location to new purpose built school buildings on the Myton Road campus, joining Warwick School and Warwick Prep School.
Our pupils will benefit from the new state-of-the-art buildings, playgrounds and playing fields, connected by interlinking pedestrianised tree lined walkways and set amidst landscaped courtyards.
Planning permission has been granted by Warwick District Council
Work on the project is taking place in two phases. The first is underway and sees the creation of the new King’s High School building with dedicated school hall and dining room, as well as the new shared sixth form centre with Warwick School, for social, careers and some study activities. This will take two years, with completion scheduled for September 2019.
Work will then start on the improvements and extension to the sport centre – which includes new design and technical spaces – and the new music centre which will be used by King’s High and Warwick Preparatory School.
