4. Serving our Community
" When you are labouring for others let it be with the same zeal as if it were for yourself". Confucius
Every member of our community feels truly valued and connected and every pupil feels a duty of service to others, such that we have a positive impact on the world around us.
- Service Learning is celebrated and part of every pupil’s lived experience
- Have a meaningful impact in the local area and reflect the communities we serve
- All Warwick School pupils will have an understanding of their social responsibility and will play a positive role in the world.
It is important to have a strong sense of community and seek to improve the world around us. A school should do this by instilling a duty of service amongst pupils so they become selfless leaders and make a positive impact on the world around them.
There is already a strong sense of pride in the Warwick School community. We continue to develop our links with King’s High School and Warwick Prep School as part of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation and these links will be further strengthened by Project One Campus.
Pupils engage in a variety of activities from volunteering to raising funds to charity. The theme of charitable service is recognised and encouraged by individuals and as a school.
By 2021, we will cultivate a stronger sense of belonging across our community. We will instil and recognise a duty of service in all those who come here. We will commit to making a positive impact as a school on the world around us.
