Creative writing example of the week........
It was pleasing to receive a number of emails and photographs of our boys taking on last weekend's 10km challenge.
Over the next few weeks our Junior School boys will have the opportunity to showcase their creative writing. This week Eduardo Pass Jimenez has contributed his piece entitled ‘Pirate’.
On Monday morning in my assembly I explored the theme of honesty.
No doubt all the boys coming into school for the Aquathlon thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Mr Burchett and Mr McWhirter deserve a huge vote of thanks for all their excellent organisation.

Walking around school this week, it was great to see such fun and engaging learning taking place. On one visit to the science laboratory, Year 5 boys were enjoying their first lessons using bunsen burners.
In my assembly to the boys this week, I introduced or reminded the boys of our school motto 'Altiora Peto'. To make this more understandable to our boys we have chosen to simplify this to 'Aiming Higher'.
