Sport

“Through high-quality coaching, first-class facilities and a well-balanced fixture programme, we aim to ignite a spark in all pupils – whatever their sporting experience – to improve, but most importantly, to enjoy a range of sports.”
Mr Burchett, Assistant Head and Head of Junior School Sport
Many of our boys excel in sport and there are opportunities to play and compete at the highest level. Our main sports are rugby, football, and cricket. However, hockey is also played throughout the first two terms in Years 5 and 6. Other sports that pupils will have the opportunity to participate in are golf, tennis, swimming and athletics.
Facilities
We share the same facilities as the Senior School, and through our dedicated and experienced coaching team, boys can make the most of their individual sporting talents. Superb facilities such as the 3G rugby pitch, AstroTurf hockey pitches, an indoor 25 metre pool, and outstanding grass playing surfaces allow our boys the very best opportunities.
Fixtures
We have an extensive fixture list across all year groups, providing well-matched opportunities for competitive games against other schools.
Competitions and tournaments
Across Warwick School, we host a range of events with one of the most popular being our Annual Warwick Junior School Rugby 7s Tournament. We also want to give our pupils as many opportunities to compete where possible. With our swimmers competing in national competitions, regularly achieving medals at the highest level and our golfers and athletes compete in IAPS competitions.
