  • Youth Theatre Assistant

    The Bridge House Young Company is the Bridge House Theatre’s youth theatre company, working with young people aged 11-18 in the Warwick area. Our students meet every Saturday, working with industry professionals to create high quality theatrical experiences. All of our members will perform at the Bridge House Theatre during the year.

    We are seeking Workshop Assistants with experience of working with young people and vulnerable groups to support their experiences and learning, and to involved in the development of the Bridge House Young Company and Warwick School’s Art Strategy/arts related activity for young people in community.

    We are looking for assistants to work Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm during term time only.

    £10.74 per hour.

  • Application Support Manager

    Warwick School are seeking to appoint an Application Support Manager to provide an important link between the IT support department and the the academic departments of Warwick School and Warwick Junior School.

    Both schools rely heavily upon cloud-based services including Microsoft 365, Firefly and ISAMS. We are looking for someone to be responsible for liaising with service providers; specifying and diagnosing problems; developing and training on these applications, as well as advising the relevant staff on how to best integrate the systems. It is expected that the successful candidate will keep abreast of the latest developments in these areas.

    The Estates & Operations department of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation is a successful, friendly and professional environment in which to work – currently working over 2 senior school sites (within the heart of / and south Warwick).

    The Building Compliance Officer will proactively support on all areas of compliance for the Department by providing technical operational advice, documentation, record keeping, monitoring and statutory compliance services relating to the management, maintenance and development of the Schools’ estates (including the Foundation’s small residential portfolio).  This role requires both office and on-site duties.

    The successful applicant will have previous experience / good understanding of the following key areas which will be important to the future progress of this role:

    • Contracts and Contractor management
    • Awareness of Construction Design Management
    • Fire Asset Protection
    • Legionella / Asbestos management
    • Risk Assessment
    • Electrical / fixed-wire inspections / PAT
    • Gas Safety for commercial / domestic plant

    We are seeking to appoint a Grounds Person to join our Grounds Department within our large, friendly team of Estates & Operations professionals. 

    • You will have proven grounds experience, specialising in sports pitches and be able to offer support to all areas of grounds maintenance and development of a large 60acre estate.
    • You will continue with a high level of quality and workmanship with improvements continually shown to all areas of the grounds and estate.
    • You will assist in maintaining the lawns, playing fields, artificial pitches, hedges, shrub beds, trees, gardens & hardcourt areas to a high standard ensuring they are safe/fit for purpose.
    • You will assist in marking / setting out pitches for football, rugby, cricket, athletics and associated sports equipment, and other areas as required by your line-manager/Grounds Supervisor(s) in liaison with the Sports Departments
    • Assist in ensuring all lawns, beds, boarders and hanging baskets are watered regularly depending on the conditions. Undertake digging, planting and weeding of flower beds, boarders hanging baskets pruning shrubs and small trees.

    We are seeking to appoint an excellent operative who is a good team-worker with a confident, professional and approachable manner. The successful applicant will have the ability to be flexible and takes a real pride in their work / what they can accomplish.
