Sixth annual Warwick Junior School Aquathlon
On Friday, 6 June, pupils took part in the sixth annual Warwick Junior School Aquathlon, and what a brilliant afternoon it was! With the weather being an improvement on last year, it created the perfect conditions for an afternoon full of energy, excitement, and team spirit.
Throughout the event, boys from every year group demonstrated a wonderful attitude. They stayed focused during their races and supported one another with lots of encouragement. It was clear to see how our school’s learning strengths—resilience, focus, independence, and responsibility—were being put into action in every splash and stride.
The event was particularly special for our Year 3 boys, who were taking part in the aquathlon for the very first time. Even though a few boys took an unexpected turn on the running course, they showed great determination and handled the challenge with enthusiasm. Their efforts were a fantastic example of the resilience and independence we encourage in all our pupils.
The aquathlon is not just about individual performance; it’s all about celebrating teamwork and camaraderie. From helping each other prepare, to cheering on friends at the finish line, the sense of community was inspiring. Every boy raced not only for himself but for his house, earning valuable points in this exciting house competition.
After a closely contested event, congratulations go to Terra House who were crowned this year's champions. Congratulations must also go to the top three finishers in each year:
