World Book Day

On Thursday, 6 March, we will be celebrating World Book Day in the Junior School by asking the boys to celebrate their favourite book and get creative! Our theme this year is 'World Book Day Hats' and we are encouraging the boys to come to school wearing a hat that represents their favourite book or book character.

This could be something simple, such as wearing a woolly bobble hat to represent Where's Wally, or a Witches hat to show your love for Harry Potter, but it is also an opportunity for the boys to get crafty, make or decorate their own hats and be as imaginative as they would like! Thank you for your support - we can't wait to see all the fantastic book- themed hats on World Book Day!

This year the World Book Day book tokens have gone digital. You are able to download a token, which entitles each pupil to a free special edition World Book Day book, from the following link: worldbookday.com/books-and-tokens/book-token/digital-tokens.

The token is for individual use and is valid from 13 February until 23 March 2025. There will also be paper copies of the token available for collection from Mrs Evason in the Library on World Book Day. Happy Reading!
