Year 3 Cricket Festival
The 1st XI outfield at Warwick School was buzzing with excitement as Year 3 pupils from Warwick Junior School, Warwick Prep, The Kingsley School, and The Croft came together for a Festival of Cricket.
The pupils enjoyed a mix of kwik cricket and pairs cricket matches, showcasing the bowling, batting and fielding skills they have been working on so hard this term. It was great to see teamwork, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship throughout the afternoon.
It was lovely to see so many parents on the sidelines, supporting the players in what was for many their first experience of a cricket match. The children mixed brilliantly across schools, forming new friendships and sharing in the joy of the game.
The festival ended with everyone enjoying a well-deserved ice cream. It was just a pity that the sun wasn't shining, as it has been all week!
