Mo’ news from Warwick!

Warwick has started their second week of Movember strong! The campaign began with an inspiring visit from Julia, from the Movember charity, and Chris, a Movember ambassador. Together, they spoke to the Sixth Form on Monday about why the charity’s work is so important, the projects it supports, and how to check in with your mates.
The Mo spirit is spreading fast, with moustache updates now coming in from both pupils and staff. While some are still planning ambitious end-of-month fundraising ideas, others have already begun their challenges. A few of things the boys are doing:
- James is running an incredible 200km over November — complete with some interesting clothing choices!
- Maanav is swimming 20km,
- George and Harlan are aiming for 100 km of running while chasing a sub-22-minute 5km, and
- Josh has set himself the challenge of completing 27 rounds of golf.
And that’s just a few of the efforts under way!
The Charity Committee is also helping to relaunch ‘Dough for a Bro’. An initiative that encourages pupils to check in with one another, raise funds, and enjoy a well-deserved doughnut in the process!
So far, Warwick has already raised nearly £8,000, edging closer to the halfway mark toward the ambitious £15,000 target. While the fundraising is fantastic, the message behind Movember remains the most important part:
- It’s okay to ask for help.
- It’s okay to talk.
- It’s okay to look after yourself.
