Law offer holder success

Huge congratulations to all the Law offer holders from Warwick School. Pupils have achieved outstanding success, securing offers from a range of prestigious universities such as Bristol, Manchester, Warwick, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham, Exeter, Lancaster and Cardiff. One pupil also received an offer for a degree apprenticeship with Shoosmiths, a well-renowned national law firm. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication the boys have put into their applications and into their studies.
Warwick Schools Foundation’s Law Pathway ensures that all pupils are fully prepared whenever they are making an application to read Law at university.
Our Sixth Form offers personalised pathways to all of its pupils for life beyond Warwick School. Staff (including a Law Coordinator at Warwick) work closely with pupils to enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with:
- Exploring different areas of law, including public law, contract law, tort, equity, international law, property law, and criminal law
- Providing pupils with opportunities to read and analyse legal cases and texts
- Enhancing pupils’ presentation and communication skills
- Challenging pupils with complex legal problems in order to enhance their reasoning and critical observations, as well as developing their ability to explain difficult concepts in a considered, and effective manner
- Formulating cogent and sustained arguments
- Preparing pupils for the Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT) pre-admissions test
- Discussing current affairs
- Preparing pupils for interview (if required)
- Engaging pupils with super-curricular activities, recommended reading lists, and advice on their personal statements.
Since its foundation, pupils on the pathway have received many offers from the universities listed above, as well as Oxford, Durham, UCL, Liverpool, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
