Impressive cricket run
It’s been a busy — and blisteringly hot — second half of term for Warwick School Cricket. The U15A side continued their impressive run, reaching the Midlands semi-final and quarter final in their T20 and 30‑over competitions.
Individual performances have been outstanding. Tom, Joel and Olly claimed superb five‑wicket hauls, while Niki, Leo and Gianluca each produced magnificent centuries against Trent College.
The annual OWs and MCC fixtures were once again highlights of the season. The Old Warwickians proved they’ve still got plenty of class, and the MCC match went right down to the wire thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 65 from Tim. Adding to the sense of occasion, six former captains from the 1960s joined us for MCC Day — a tradition we look forward to continuing.
We now look ahead to our final weekend block against Abingdon and the 1st XI’s season finale at the Bablake T20 Festival next week. A huge thank‑you to all staff, as well as our catering and grounds teams, for their tremendous efforts throughout the year.
