British Science Week 2024

From Friday, 8 March Warwick School will once again be celebrating British Science Week, with a range of events and collaborations between our Foundation schools. There are 3 main events for pupils to participate in, as well as Year 6 dry ice demos, tutor time science quizzes and Year 7 and 8 building challenges!

Friday, 8 March: Science Fair

Monday, 11 March: Science Bake-Off

The Science Bake-Off is back again this year - make something delicious with a science theme! Pupils should bring their entry to Warwick Hall before morning registration on Monday, 11 March and remember to write a list of ingredients.

There are two competitions this year that pupils' bakes will be judged on: Star Baker for the best tasting and the most Scientific. Judging will be at lunchtime where the cakes will be on display in Warwick Hall.

Wednesday 13 March: Science & Nature Photography Competition

Pupils are invited to take a picture of anything to do with Science & Nature. They could also relate it to this year’s theme, which is ‘Time’. Pupils should print and hand in their photo on A4 paper in the Physics Department with their name and tutor group on before Friday, 8 March.

Photos will be on display in the Halse Pavilion on Wednesday, 13 March at lunchtime!
