At U18 level the Academy season culminated in the Finals Day on Saturday, 17 February. Ollie was involved in the Midlands West match vs Saracens, and Diamond was involved in Midlands Central match vs London South & Central. Congratulations to them both for their selections, and also to Charlie who was also involved with Midlands West Academy this season.
At U16 level, Will P, Tolly P, Tom W, Tom J, Benjie B and Seb M all have represented Midlands West Academy vs Sale on Sunday, 18 February. In some highly competitive games, the boys acquitted themselves well, with Tom’s kicking game standing out, along with Seb’s fearless tackling throughout the matches.
The boys also have several matches coming up vs Harlequins, Bristol, Northampton, Yorkshire followed by an RFU festival at Warwick University.
In addition to this cohort, Alex W was also selected to play for Midlands Central U16 academy squad on Saturday, 17 February. As the only Warwick School representative in the squad, he has done very well to break into the team during his time with the group. He will also continue to represent them in upcoming games against Bath, Harlequins, Midlands West and also playing in the Academy festival.
