Translation prize success

We are thrilled that Warwick School boys have once again been highly commended for their translations of French, German, and Spanish literature and poetry as part of the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators.
Over 25,000 students participated in the competition in 2026, and over 5,400 entries were judged, so this is a fantastic achievement.
Congratulations to Yannic (Lower Sixth), Arthur (Year 10), and Braden (Year 11) for their commendations in this competition.
An additional mention must go to Arthur, who was also a runner up in the Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge translation prize for students in Year 10, and was invited to spend a morning exploring the college with academic staff from the School of Modern and Medieval Languages.
We are delighted that Warwick School boys continue to seek and succeed in academic challenges involving modern languages.
