While headline statistics provide one measure of success, they tell only part of the story. For Warwick School, A Level Results Day is first and foremost about individual pupils: their journeys, their perseverance, and the opportunities now opening up before them.

Among this year's cohort, eight pupils achieved three A* grades or better, 39 pupils secured all grades at A or above, and 88 pupils achieved ABB or better.

The vast majority of pupils will now progress to their chosen higher education destinations, with nearly two thirds securing places at their first-choice university. In total, 100 members of the cohort will be heading to Russell Group and other leading universities. These numbers reflect both the academic strength of the cohort, and the university entry support they have received.

Courses chosen by pupils include Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology and Marine Biology, Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Drama and Film, History of Art, Law with Politics, Medicine, Modern Languages, History, Sociology and Criminology and Zoology.

Commenting on the results, Head, James Barker said:

"Our headline figures are strong and there is much to celebrate, but today is really about individual young people and their personal achievements.

Behind every set of results is a story. For some pupils, that story involves securing the grades needed for a highly competitive course or university. For others, it is about overcoming personal challenges, building confidence, demonstrating resilience, and achieving outcomes that reflect their hard work and potential.

We are incredibly proud not only of those pupils who have achieved exceptional academic results, but also of those whose success may be less visible in the national league tables yet represents a remarkable personal accomplishment."

As pupils begin to confirm their university destinations and other post-school pathways, the school is mindful that results day brings a mixture of emotions. Alongside moments of celebration, there will inevitably be some disappointment for those who have narrowly missed ambitious targets. Warwick School staff are working closely with pupils and families to ensure that every young person receives the support and guidance needed to navigate the next stage of their journey.

Mr Barker continued:

"One of the great privileges of working in a school is seeing the progress young people make over time. Examination results matter, and we are delighted by the achievements of this cohort, but they are only one part of a much bigger picture.

As they leave Warwick, our pupils do so with much more than a set of grades. They leave with friendships, experiences and values that have been shaped over many years, together with the character, resilience and confidence to embrace the opportunities ahead of them. Whether their next step takes them to university, an apprenticeship, employment or a different pathway altogether, they have strong foundations on which to build successful, fulfilling lives.

Today is not simply a celebration of examination results, but of the young men they have become and the contribution they are ready to make to the world beyond Warwick."
