Year 9 golf competition

On Thursday 7 May, a group of Year 9 boys played Stratford Oaks in a Stapleford competition. Many of these boys have been playing golf at school since they were in Year 5, and this event marked an important step as they progress into representing school teams.
The weather and conditions were perfect, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon. Sam finished as overall winner with a score of 41, followed by Harvey in second place with 32 and Louis in third with 30.
There was no winner in the 'nearest pin competition' as no player managed to hit the green. A reminder of just how challenging golf can be!
