Warwick Schools Foundation Wildlife Photography Contest 2023

To take photographs means to recognize - simultaneously and within a fraction of a second - both the fact itself and the rigorous organization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is putting one's head, one's eye and one's heart on the same axis.

Discover the natural world in all its wonder and diversity at the inaugural WSF Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, where I would like to encourage you to take remarkable photographs to illustrate the precious beauty of our local environment.

Winners will be awarded a trophy at an event in the Warwick Senior School Pavilion on 20 March 2023 from 4.30pm-5.30 pm. All winning photos will be displayed at the event along with a selection of entrants of particular merit. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Categories and prizes are split according to year groups (and there’s a category for parents and teachers!). Please see the information below and if you have any questions at all please email me at r.irani@warwickschool.org.

I look forward to seeing your photos! Best of luck!
