Holiday Action welcomed Foundation key worker children during February half-term.
House chess events have been taking place with great success in lockdown format, with games on ‘lichess’ – one of several chess platforms which have been flourishing around the world.
As part of the development of the Barber Art galleries outreach to schools programme, our Year 12 art students were lucky enough to access a live online session with the Barber’s specialist education department of The Barber Institute of Fine Arts.
Mr Etheridge is running a Taskmaster Competition for Year 7s.
Warwick School's Popular Careers Sector Club is now also open to Year 10.
In Y8 Drama, boys have been studying the work of ‘Vamos Theatre Company’ -
Year 13 Philosophy students were asked to make a board game or mechanism made of junk around the house to explain the ethical theory of Virtue Ethics.
Science Journal club has gone from strength to strength over the last year as our presentations went digital via Teams, with lockdown actually increasing the number of Year 12 and 13 attendees from Warwick School and King's High School.
Rise of the Machines 2021: ‘Bring Your Own Devices at Warwick School’
Lots has been going on in the Languages Departments, alongside lessons of course.
Congratulations to Hassan Khalil who has received an offer to study at Harvard University.
