  • OW Fin Smith's rugby career goes from strength to strength

    Old Warwickian Fin Smith's sporting career is going from strength to strength, having joined Northampton Saints in October 2022. Fin plays fly half, which is one of the most important positions on the pitch.

    Now, his journey has been reported by Leeds Now from another OW, Ted Bromwich.

    Our Director of Rugby, Mr Pierce, said; “I’m incredibly proud [of Fin], it’s the reason you go into coaching. I’m more proud of the person he has become and hopefully, he goes on to the next level of international rugby”.

  • Success for Warwick School Debaters

    On Thursday, 17 November, teams of Warwick School senior debaters participated in the first rounds of the English Speaking Union MACE Competition and the English Speaking Union Churchill Public Speaking Competition. As the fixtures were held online, the top floor of Thornton Building was a hub of activity with our three well-prepared teams competing in their different fixtures.

  • Orchestra of the Swan's New Season at Warwick Hall

    Join us on Thursday 10th November, 7:30pm at Warwick Hall for an unforgettable evening.

    Violinist Priya Mitchell described by The Strad as “one of the foremost violinists of her generation”, and The Swan’s Principal Conductor Michael Collins, help to kick off The Swan’s new season at our Warwick residency, in a concert that sets out to explore what constitutes as truly American music in the 21st century.

    Culturally and politically America is a bewildering tangle of contradictions. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that its music reflects that confusion. What we perceive as the quintessentially ‘American’ sound was in fact inspired by the immigrants, refugees and slaves who disseminated their astonishingly rich musical heritage wherever they settled. As America continues to struggle with its pernicious legacy of slavery and genocide this concert explores what constitutes a truly American music in the 21st century.
