The Library

The Library is situated on the first floor of the Masefield Centre and plays a central role in the life of the School. It is extensively used for reading and research throughout the day and is a popular venue at break times, lunch times and after school. It offers a venue for Sixth Form private study periods during the day and hosts Homework Club and Boarders Prep in the evenings.

Open from 8.30am to 4.30pm during the week and staffed by our Head Librarian, it houses over 20,000 printed and online resources.  The Library provides free access to academic online databases such as JSTOR and the Science Reference Centre, as well as a wide range of academic journals and popular magazines. Warwick School will always be passionate about the printed book but now our students can also download e-books and borrow e-readers.

All new pupils visit the Library as part of their Induction Programme and find out how to find and use information in the Library. Pupils also make regular class visits to the Library throughout the year to research information for project work and for reading.
