It was very interesting and I learnt a lot about the war, but at the same time I felt awful for the Jewish people because they were completely innocent and all of a sudden they were being hunted down for no reason.

Published 09/10/23On 2nd October 1869, Mahatma Gandhi was born in Porbandar, India. In assembly this week, the boys reflected on his life, learning about how he protested for Indian Independence and racial equality through peaceful means. I left the boys to think about one of Gandhi’s quotes:
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Published 29/09/23I spent the first half of this week with Prep and Junior School Heads from across the country at the 2023 IAPS Heads Conference in Liverpool. Over three days, it was interesting to hear from a range of speakers on topics such as A.I, metacognition, the socio-economic outlook, diversity, problem solving and creativity. These occasions always provide valuable opportunities to talk to other professionals, exchange ideas and to listen to, and learn from, the experience of Heads in other schools.
