The delivery of the eggs and the egg incubator has stirred the boys' interests this week.
It has been very pleasing to see so many boys achieving their Diploma Awards over the last couple of weeks.
Jude had a busy Easter holidays raising funds for the Calvert Trust.
After such pleasant weather over Easter, it was good to see boys and staff return refreshed and ready for the term ahead.
Sam (4W) received a letter from the Acorns Trust, a charity supporting a local children's hospice, thanking him for raising an amazing £620.
Last Saturday I spoke to parents and boys joining us for our virtual open morning about how exciting learning is in the Junior School.
As 'Dr Freddie' (see above) prescribed, the return to school proved to be a shot in the arm for all our school community. The sun shone on our first day back and there was a genuine feeling of happiness and optimism as the boys returned.

In memory of their grandfather, Harry and Charlie have been raising money for charity this month.
It is with a huge sigh of relief that we can put down our screens and welcome the boys back into school. I think we all feel that the winter lockdown has been more challenging than last year's version as short, dark, cold days have added to the feeling of gloom and repetition.
We have all been buoyed by the news that schools can return from 8th March. I am sure that boys, staff and parents are very much looking forward to the first step in life returning to normal.
